Weekly classes

I don't teach on a regular basis so I recommend that you sign up to my newsletter to get notified when I teach. 

All classes are at l'Avant-Première, 217 Montcalm street, Gatineau.

Parking is across the street in the vacant parking lot.


Learn the technical basis of the djembe with easy rhythms. It is recommended to register at the entry level for a year before moving to the intermediate level. 


Tuesday 6:00 - 7:00 pm

March 15th to April 12th (5 weeks) 105$



You are comfortable playing djembe? Learn more complex and faster rhythms and start learning dundun.


Wednesday  7:00 - 8:30 pm

March 16th to April 13th (5 weeks) 105$


You are hooked? In addition to speed and rhythmic challenges, you will play dundun as well.


Tuesday 7:30 - 9:00 pm

No advanced sessions yet. On the other hand, you can develop the learning of Dundun drums at all levels classes.

Day class, all level

You juste want to have fun with your djembe in a structured class.  And you have free daytime. This one is for you.


Wednesday  10:30 am - 12:00 pm

March 16th to April 13th (5 weeks) 105$


Some options

Unplanned absences: If you are absent for a course during the session, you can take this course in any other group during this session. Ideally, it would be in the same week. The material will probably not be the same but at least you'll be able to play :-)

Absences planned in advance: It is possible to pay only the courses where you will be present, if you indicate at the time of registration. In this case, the cost is $ 18 / 1h x the number of courses or $ 23 / 1:30 x the number of courses.

Drop in: Can't commit but want to come when you can? Pay when you come. $ 20 / hour or $ 25 / 1:30.

Adults aged 65 and up, students and children aged 8 and up:  get 20% off.

Registration in more than one group: get 15% off.

Please note that you can benefit from one discount at a time. 


Djembe rental

$5 per class or $30 per month. Please Let me know when you register.
